J Plus Hobby Refund Policy

At J Plus Hobby, customer satisfaction is important to us. Please read our Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Policy

All sales are considered final once an order has been confirmed and payment has been received. Refund requests are subject to review and approval by J Plus Hobby.

J Plus Hobby reserves the right to approve, reject, or offer alternative resolutions for any refund request at its sole discretion.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • The ordered item is unavailable and cannot be fulfilled.
  • The item received is significantly different from the item ordered.
  • The item received is damaged due to manufacturing defects.
  • The order is cancelled and qualifies under our Cancellation or Pre-Order Policy.
  • An incorrect item was shipped by J Plus Hobby.

To qualify for a refund, customers must contact us within 7 days of receiving the order and provide supporting evidence, including photographs and order details.

3. Non-Refundable Items

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Incorrect orders placed by customers.
  • Minor packaging imperfections caused during shipping.
  • Manufacturer packaging variations or updates.
  • Delays caused by suppliers, manufacturers, customs, couriers, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • Pre-order deposits.
  • Clearance, promotional, discounted, or special-order items unless the item is defective.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item.

Customers must provide:

  • Order number
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Description of the issue

J Plus Hobby may require the item to be returned for inspection before approving a refund, replacement, or exchange.

5. Incorrect Items

If an incorrect item has been shipped, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

Once verified, J Plus Hobby will arrange for the appropriate resolution, which may include:

  • Replacement of the item;
  • Store Credit;
  • Credit Note;
  • Store Coupon; or
  • Refund at the discretion of J Plus Hobby.

6. Refund Method

Unless otherwise approved by J Plus Hobby, all approved refunds will be issued as:

  • J Plus Hobby Credit Note, or
  • J Plus Hobby Store Coupon

Credit Notes and Store Coupons:

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Are non-transferable.
  • Must be used before their stated expiry date.
  • Can only be used for purchases at J Plus Hobby.

Cash refunds, bank transfers, or payment gateway reversals may be provided only in exceptional circumstances and solely at the discretion of J Plus Hobby.

7. Pre-Order Refunds

For pre-order items:

  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
  • Full-payment pre-orders cancelled by customers may be subject to a 15% processing fee.
  • Customers may alternatively choose to receive the full amount as Store Credit, Credit Note, or Store Coupon.
  • If J Plus Hobby is unable to fulfill a pre-order due to supplier allocation issues or manufacturer cancellation, customers will receive a refund in the form of a Credit Note or Store Coupon for the amount paid.

8. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been shipped.

Where a refund is approved for reasons not caused by J Plus Hobby, original shipping costs and return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund value.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact J Plus Hobby directly before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.

J Plus Hobby reserves the right to suspend future purchases and customer accounts where fraudulent or unreasonable chargebacks are initiated.

10. Rights Reserved

J Plus Hobby reserves the right to:

  • Reject any refund request that does not meet the requirements of this policy.
  • Request additional information before approving a refund.
  • Modify or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
  • Determine the appropriate refund method, refund value, replacement, repair, exchange, or store credit offered.
  • Refuse refunds where misuse, mishandling, unauthorized modifications, or abuse of products is suspected.

J Plus Hobby reserves all rights.

All decisions made by J Plus Hobby regarding refunds, returns, exchanges, store credits, coupons, and disputes shall be final.
